typographic summer program.

I was fortunate to spend one month traveling Switzerland during the summer of 2016. During that time I was able to visit several cultural institutions (see links). I also had the opportunity to work for two plus weeks with Dafi Kühne at his studio 'BabyInkTwice' in Näfels. My letterpress project ‘Lumina’ was imprinted on dark blue metalic fleck paper with bright white & magenta fluorescent inks. My aim for the project was to break the rigid boundaries of letterpress typesetting in order to express the ‘trail of lights’ idea metaphorically, and explore inking processes that are difficult to achieve with offset printing.
